PRO Services

The UAE’s Golden Visa offers long-term residency, no sponsorship needed, and unlimited family sponsorship. Residents need an Emirates ID, with mandatory health screenings. Expats access public or private health insurance, and MOHRE oversees streamlined labor file opening for businesses in mainland.

Golden Visas

Investors, entrepreneurs, scientists, exceptional students, pioneers in humanitarian work, and heroes on the front lines are among the many foreign nationals who aspire to get the highly sought Golden Visa, a long-term residence visa offered by the United Arab Emirates. It grants people the right to reside, work, or attend school in the UAE, along with certain privileges. A six-month multiple-entry visa is issued upon entry, renewable residence permits are available for 5, or 10 years, a sponsor is not necessary, extended stays outside the UAE do not jeopardize visa status, an unlimited number of domestic helpers and family members can be sponsored, and continuous residency is maintained.

Investor in Public Investments

If you meet one of these conditions, you may be eligible for a 10-year Golden Visa without a sponsor if you participate in public investments:
  1. Confirmation letter from an investment fund that is approved by the UAE, attesting to a deposit of AED 2 million.

  2. A memorandum of association and a valid commercial or industrial license, both of which should demonstrate a capital of at least AED 2 million.

  3. Proof of yearly government payments of at least AED 250,000 in the form of a letter from the Federal Tax Authority is required.

Real Estate Investors

If a real estate investor meets one of the following requirements, they may apply for a sponsor-free, renewable Golden Visa valid for five years:

  1. A letter verifying ownership of total properties valued at least 2 million dirhams combined, issued by the land department of the relevant emirate.
  2. A mortgage from one of the approved local banks by the relevant authority.

Entrepreneurs

If an entrepreneur has a high-risk, innovative economic initiative, they may be eligible for a Golden Visa for five years. They need letters of approval from the following to be eligible:

1. In the United Arab Emirates, an auditor has verified that the project’s worth is more than half a million dirhams.

2. The authorities confirm for the project’s focus on technology or the future.

3. The planned venture needs to be set up in the UAE via an approved business incubator.

Other Eligible Categories

A wide variety of people possess exceptional specialized abilities, including medical professionals, researchers, artists, businesspeople, sportsmen, and experts in fields such as genetics, artificial intelligence, and epidemiology. The qualifications needed to apply for a Golden visa vary by category. Professionals in the medical and scientific fields need either official acknowledgment from scientific bodies or clearance from the Ministry of Health. The recommendation of the Ministry of Economy is required for inventors. The appropriate cultural departments must give their stamp of approval to creative people. A director’s executive credentials, including their degree, years of experience, pay rate, and employment contract, must be on hand. Athletes need the support of people in charge of sports. A valid degree and a job contract are necessities for scientists and engineers. The academic achievements of exceptional pupils can be used to get visas, while the contributions and recommendations of competent authorities can be used to qualify pioneers of humanitarian activity and combat heroes.

UAE Emirates ID & Medical

Everyone in the United Arab Emirates is required to have an Emirates ID, which is the official identification card for citizens and residents. You may find information on the card’s application, features, and perks on the ICP website or contact us directly. One can visit an authorized typing center or use the website of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) to apply for a new Emirates ID. An ICP service center may be required to collect biometric data. Applicants can find detailed information on the application process, required documents, and costs on the ICP website.

For the sake of public health, it is standard practice to screen all visa applicants for infectious diseases such as hepatitis, HIV, leprosy, syphilis, and tuberculosis. During this process, a nurse or doctor will perform a physical examination and, if needed, draw blood for the appropriate tests that are determined by the visa type.

Comprehensive Health Insurance

Public health insurance is available to expats in the United Arab Emirates via their employers, but it is more expensive than the free healthcare that citizens of the UAE receive. Expats can save money on medical care thanks to public health insurance. Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) are the main bodies in charge of healthcare in Dubai. Private health insurance plans for expats are also accessible to families, individuals, and retirees. Expats living in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) can rest easy knowing that comprehensive coverage is available from a number of international insurance firms, including Aetna, Cigna, Allianz, and many more.

Labour File Opening (MOHRE)

After a lengthy revision in 2022, the Labor Law finally superseded Federal Law No. 8 of 1980 with new rules and regulations that benefited both workers and companies. The working environment in the UAE has been drastically changed by this update. Obtaining recruitment permits for staff is a regulatory requirement for each new firm beginning operations in Dubai mainland. Start by registering your firm with the MOHRE (Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation). They’ll grant you a company number, which is also called a labor file number. Employers can then use this labor file to calculate the number of personnel needed for business operations and apply for a labor quota. After that, they can apply for individual work permits.
