The Process of Getting External Approval in Dubai

When you start your trade license application in Dubai, DED issues your business name and initials. If your business activity requires external approval, DED will refer you to the relevant department. That department will examine your documentation and inspect your details for approval. It takes one to two months to get your business approved. 

When you get external approval, DED issues you the license.

Does external approval come with an extra cost?

External approval requires a cost that you have to pay. Sometimes, the relevant department approves your request on a one-time charge. In rare cases, you have to pay recurring fees.
